Pitch Figures

Pitch Figures is an interactive installation inspired by Toyo Ito's Sendai Mediatheque. Located in the second-floor hallway of the USC School of Architecture, the installation aims to look at how people can act as natural elements such as wind or ocean currents in a man-made interactive installation. The installation comprises eight different-sized wind chimes, each with its pitch or density of chimes. While the wind chimes can be moved by wind, the goal is to look at the sound and visual of the wind chimes as people act like a breeze flowing through them.
